The U.S. Embargo on Cuba should not be lifted up yet; for
though thanks to it the Castros have been forced to raise their domestic Blockade
on all Cubans, as the expropriation of all possessions before leaving the
country, restricting the right to sell and buy houses, cars, cell lines; to
staying in hotels, renting a car, to travel abroad, to develop talent and
fortune in professional baseball, build self-employed business, etc; There are still
serious limitations and violations of human rights in the island; as the
repression, persecution and imprisonment for political opinions contrary to the
regime, or for dissenting from the totalitarian government imposed for more
than five decades. Los Castros, responsible
for so many detriments and harms to the people of Cuba, persist in their
monopoly of power and their failed socialist system, despite the dismal
situation of the nation. The average salaries are a constant challenge to a
decent life; the education system has become a manipulated fraud; the health
system has deteriorated considerably; and basic food basket is depressing;
leaving many cubans no other choice than to exile; and what is worse, the Cuban nationality is threatened to
disappear, facing the decision of thousands and thousands of Cubans choosing
other citizenships, seeking a different future, such as Spanish, for which the lines
in its embassy are endless. Cubans, don't reject international solidarity,
lifting the EMBARGO must be conditioned on the removal from power of the
Castros, and the overthrow of the dictatorship! To be continued...
