For its part, the Committee on Constitution and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly of People's Power of #Cuba responded to #VarelaProyect initiative with the most absurd and anti democratic idea ever Conceived, proposing that the #CubanConstitution was amended to make permanent the socialist character of the Cuban state. This, they argued based on a lie, that despite its constant repetition and masking for over half a century now, nobody believes and everyone feels its falsity; sustaining that #Socialism and the revolutionary socio political system established in the Cuban Constitution, has demonstrated its ability to transform the country and create an entirely new and just society, therefore it must be irrevocable, so that Cuba will never return to #Capitalism. But well, if what Socialism has reliably demonstrated has been the ability to transform Cuba into a decaying, dictatorial and #Emigrant in masses nation; and has created an entirely new and UNJUST society with a single #CommunistParty, strict censorship, double standards, and a corrupt ruling elite with complete disregard for Constitutional and #HumanRights; realities which have been observed, reported and sanctioned by several international human rights organizations; how was the regime able to manipulate the people to achieve to #Hijack their #MagnaCarta?
