December 16th, 1996. That day 5 Officials, from the Technical Department of
Investigation (DTI), The National Revolutionary Police (PNR), the Provincial
Office of Fishing Inspection, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security
(MTSS) of Cienfuegos, trespassed my home and committed an illegal search. And

legally. And you might ask yourselves: Is that a crime in Cuba? Well, that was
enough for them to impose five thousand Cuban pesos of fine and the
confiscation of the refrigerator of the family, valued in some fifteen thousand
Cuban pesos. But guess what followed later. To be continued...
