The weakness of Castro's Constitutional Reform Vs the #VarelaProject and that in my opinion should be the first fight of the Cuban people, both in exile and in the island, is how absurd, antiscientific and antidemocratic it is. I can no longer refer to article 137 of the #Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, related below, as fictitious, whose similarity to other democratic and respected in real life Constitutions, is entirely coincidental and unintentional; No, Article 137 is a rude joke, a major political blunder of the Castros, which will not support its future first analysis.

Article 137: This Constitution can only be amended by the National Assembly of People's Power by resolution adopted by a roll call vote of a majority of no less than two-thirds of the total number of its members, except in regard to the political, economic and social system, which is irrevocably established in Article 3 of Chapter I, and the prohibition of agreements negotiated under aggression, threat or coercion of a foreign power.

Article 3: In the Republic of #Cuba sovereignty lies in the people, from whom originates all the power of the state. That power is exercised directly or through the assemblies of People’s Power and other state bodies which derive their authority from these assemblies, in the form and according to the norms established in the
Constitution and by law. When no other recourse is possible, all citizens have the right to struggle through all means, including armed struggle, against anyone who tries to overthrow the political, social and economic order established in this Constitution.

We are compelled to examine, analize and justify why this Referendum is absurd, antiscientific, antidemocratic, rude joke and Castros' major political blunder. To be continued...
