Impunity
reigns in Cuba when officials are involved, so two of these inspectors, one of
fishing and another one of self-employment, were absolved illegally in the
first-instance trial, held on April 13th of the same year, at the Court-Martial's
seat of Cienfuegos Garrison, sentence No. 70/99, which was recurred by me in
Cassation the on 18th of the following month. On June 17th, 1999, The Cassation
sentence No 90 was dictated, at the Central Territorial Court-Martial, making
my appeal prosper, and consequently revoking the sentence combated. However,
the aforementioned Court chose to send the case back for a new trial, instead
of ordering a new proceeding for Trespassing, in front of the vast accumulation
of evidence that came about or were supplied by me in the process. To be continued...
