The
Cuba of the Castros has plenty of demerits and discredits to remain on the list
of countries sponsoring terrorism, because even ignoring the influence and
responsibility of the Cuban regime with the depressing socio-political and
economic situation that Venezuelans are living right now, and ignoring the arms
trafficking scandal in a Korean ship uncovered and retained in the Panama
Canal, the official Sponsors responsible for this terrorism, the Castro
dynasty, is still illegitimately in power, without having judicial or
politically responded by their audited acts that led Cuba to be included in
that list; and they continue pursueing, repressing, imprisoning and even
killing members of the dissatisfied Cuban Civil Society, without the slightest
respect for human rights on the island and even in other countries, as in the
case of Panama, during the recently concluded Summit of the Americas, where verbally
and physically assaulted a representation of the Civil Society, at a time when
they were placing flowers and paying respects to a memorial of the Apostle José
Martí in the Panamanian territory.
