Raul Castro's illegitimacy. Part Eleven.

Already since late 1988, Juan Reinaldo Sanchez, former Fidel's bodyguard, realized that his boss was not only involved in the cocaine trade, but even ran those illegal operations like a true Mafia godfather. It happened that on one occasion he had accidentally overheard a conversation between General Jose Abrantes and Fidel, about a Cuban boatman that from the United States used to do business with the regime; and whom Fidel, through Abrantes, authorized to spend a week's holiday in Santa María del Mar with his parents in Cuba, for seventy-five thousand dollars, with the alibi of making the boatman's  parents believe that his son was a Cuban agent infiltrated in the USA, and that his life would be in grave danger if they did not keep the secret of his visit to Cuba. Later, during the trial of Cause No 1, former bodyguard suffers another bitter experience that tells in his book "The Hidden Life of Fidel Castro" as I quote: "At one point, the prosecution focused specifically on the issue of a hangar located in Varadero airport, where the drug was stored in the way to the United States along with other contraband. Suddenly my mind cleared. I remembered having accompanied Fidel, Abrantes, Tony de la Guardia and other MC Department officials to that same hangar two years ago. After leaving the palace in a three-vehicle convoy, we had arrived, after an hour long drive, to that building, located on the right side of the Pan American Highway. That day I had stayed outside the building while Abrantes and Tony de la Guardia showed Fidel an alleged storage container of rum bottles and cigars for export. Then, just after a quarter of an hour from our arrival, we were on our way back towards the presidential palace. At that moment of the process, I realized that two years ago Fidel had not gone to see a storage container of rum and cigars -How, indeed, could a head of state lose three hours going to see something so trivial and uninteresting?-, but a supply of white powder waiting to be sent to Florida. Because, as usual, the Commander in Chief, distrustful of his subordinates and cautious to the extreme, wanted to check everything with his own eyes, even the smallest details to ensure that they had taken the precise arrangements to conceal the contraband." Raul Castro's illegitimacy. Part Ten.

How did Fidel and Raul manipulate "Ochoa's Purge", to procure their innocence in a scandal in which they were not only linked, but were its masterminds and top leaders? Located in Raul's office, on the 4th floor of MINFAR building, the Castros watched live the entire course of Causes no. 1 and no. 2 (Cases Ochoa and Abrantes, respectively), through a closed circuit video; which served to broadcast both trials on Cuban television. Of course, the transmission was always delayed, applying suitable censorship when some fragments threatened to set too close to the truth, which could highlight or discover Fidel and Raul Castro's responsibility in the matter. Fidel ordered a system of secret communication with General Juan Escalona Regueira, Chairman of the Military Tribunal, which his former bodyguard, Juan Reinaldo Sanchez (present at all times), reveals in his book "The Hidden Life of Fidel Castro", title that, by the way, I consider very euphemistic as it should have been called "The dirty life of Fidel Castro". Well, Fidel could afford to cautiously allert the presiding judge, by a pilot light, indicating when it was convenient to proceed to interrupt the session. According to Juan Reinaldo Sanchez, when Fidel emitted his signal to General Juan Escalona to disrupt the trial, Raul gave the following order: "Let chief bodyguard know that the members of the Court will come here any moment." And so it happened; few minutes later, the presiding judge, the prosecutor and the jurymen appeared before Fidel to receive instructions. Raul Castro's illegitimacy. Part Nine.

Were Fidel and Raul intellectual authors, and primarily responsible for the incursion in drug trafficking of the Cuban officcers convicted in 1989? With the creation of the MC Department in 1986, under the leadership of Jose Abrantes, Minister of Interior, and directed by Colonel Tony de la Guardia, in order to alleviate the weakening of the Soviet help, which had been neutralizing the US economic embargo prevailing and imperceptible since 1962, adopted in response to the reckless illegal nationalization of US companies in Cuba, the legal basis for the Cuban government Official Smuggling were created, which culminated in Drug trafficking and the final Purging in "Ochoa's case". The MC Department was a Castros' bold and irresponsible Initiative, which, since its beginning, mainly specialized in Illicit Activities; such as smuggling cigarettes, cigars and lobsters into the USA; clothing and appliances into Africa; artwork and antiques into Spain; and even resell diamonds and ivory brought from Africa, in Latin America and elsewhere. The lack of transparency, the disorder and improvisation characterized its operation and accounting, which was very beneficial for both Fidel and Raul Castro. But when the suspicions of the US Government in relation to the links of the head of the Cuban regime with the Colombian drug cartel, gained strength, Fidel had no choice but to sacrifice his closest collaborators in the smuggling business, and so procure his innocence and his brother's, in the matter. Shouldn't Raul Castro have been removed from the position of Minister of Defense during the Cuban Drug scandal, being he the accused General Arnaldo Ochoa's chief, if General Jose Abrantes was demoted, prosecuted and imprisoned for being the accused Colonel Tony La Guardia's chief? Can anyone believe that Fidel and Raul, who have always boasted of having the best world intelligence services, were not aware that several Cuban officials were involved in drug trafficking? But if General Arnaldo Ochoa, Captain Jorge Martinez, Colonel Tony La Guardia and Commander Amado Padrón were sentenced to death and executed; and if the former ministers Diocles Torralba and Jose Abrantes were convicted to 20 years in prison each; and if sixteen others were sentenced to between 5 and 30 years in prison, as the commander Patricio La Guardia, who received the maximum prison sentence; and also if, subsequently, a general purge was carried out in the Interior Ministry that included another trial against 4 members of that body, the reduction to the rank of Colonel and dismissal from the army of 5 General, the suicide of 2 high-ranking officers, the dismissal of at least 300 officials, and the removal of almost all the leaders of the Interior Ministry in the country; and if the Minister-Counsellor of the Cuban Embassy in Moscow was expelled from the Cuban Foreign Service and the Communist Party, while Prime Secretary of that Mission fled to the West; and if all this happened within the ranks of the Communist Party, of which brothers Raul and Fidel have been its top leaders? How can the Cuban people continue to entrust the future of Cuba to this party? But hasn't Raul been faithful follower of his brother Fidel's failures? Read this interesting description of former bodyguard Juan Reinaldo Sanchez: "Cuba is the Fidel's "thing". He is its lord and master, in the manner of a nineteenth-century landowner.  It is as if he had transformed and expanded his father estate to make Cuba a unique eleven million people hacienda. He uses the country work force at will. For example, when doctors are formed in the Medicine school, they are not allowed to freely exercise their profession, but instead, they become "missionaries" sent under his orders to shanty towns of Africa, Venezuela and Brazil, according to the internationalist policy imagined, determined and imposed by the head of state. And while in mission abroad, these good Samaritans do not perceive but a portion of the salary that the host country should pay them, because the most important part returns to the Cuban Government, which acts as a service provider. Similarly, the foreign hotel, French, Spanish or Italian, hiring Cuban personnel on the island do not directly pay their employees, as in any free society; they pay the Cuban state, that invoices such labor bill in the price of gold (and currency), before delivering a a very small fraction to the workers in question (in Cuban pesos, which are worth almost nothing). This modern form of slavery doesn't fail to recall the dependency ratio that existed in the nineteenth century plantations regarding the almighty lord. Furthemore, it is in absolute contradiction with the principles of the International Labour Organization (ILO), which stipulates that «all workers are entitled to a salary without the intervention of an intermediary." Has Raul Castro been honest and transparent beside his brother Fidel? What does the Cuban people know about "The reserve of the Commander-in-chief"? According to Juan Reinaldo Sanchez, the Dictator's former bodyguard for more than 17 years, Fidel has "the mentality of a pirate of the Caribbean"; and when feeding his "Reserve", plus yacht Aquarama II, he has two fishing boats called "Purrial of Vicana I у II", and their catches were sent to freezing units in Havana harbor and Unit 160, logistics platform his escort. The fish Catches were sold in the Super Market on the corner of Third Avenue and 70th Street in Miramar. In addition, Juan Reinaldo informs having seen diamonds smuggled from Angola in Fidel's office, sent by Patricio de la Guardia and Arnaldo Ochoa, heads of the Cuban Interior Ministry and Military missions, respectively, in that African country during the war. The diamonds were small, stored in a box of Cohiba cigars, which Chomy, Fidel' secretary, and Pepin, his aide, passed from hand to hand in the presence of Fidel, his personal physician, Eugenio Selman, and the very bodyguard, who confirms, that it was not a problem for Fidel to work outside the law, informally and even to practice smuggling, as circumstances demanded and his position of resistance in front of the U.S. Embargo authorized him. And he assures that Fidel Castro was always aware of all illicit activities, including drug trafficking in the eighties, conceived and put into practice by Patricio de la Guardia and Arnaldo Ochoa, who, within the MC Department (Convertible Currency), struggled to collect currency regardless of the media, in order to support the Revolution. Likewise, Fidel was also aware of Interior Minister Jose Abrantes' parallel activities, who ordered to manufacture fake Levi's jeans in clandestine workshops and trafficked with adulterated Chivas Regal in the black market in Panama. And all for the purpose of feeding the "Reserve of the Commander in Chief" who, however, swears, and swears, and asks you to believe, that he only earned nine hundred cuban pesos a month. Raul Castro's illegitimacy. Part Five.

Doesn't  Raul enjoy the same lack of transparency in his administration as his brother Fidel? What does the Cuban people know about  the famous "Money reserve of the Commander-in-chief" created in the sixties? A special account formed with funds drawn from the national economic activity for the exclusive use of the dictator, outside any control or verification, with the justification of a convenient alleged imperialist aggression. In practice, that money reserve serves more to Castros' private interests than to public action. According to Juan Reinaldo Sanchez, Fidel's former bodyguard, the "Money reserve of the Commander-in-chief" is "the pay that allows him to live like a king without ever worrying about expenses... Fidel can ... at all times ... order to build a clinic, a school, a road, or ... assign vehicles to a given municipality (because his reserve also includes a number of cars) without going through a ministry or administration. It is enough the benefactor turns to his aide and prompts an amount to make the project a reality ... and Fidel a miracle worker." According to Sanchez this is not a state secret ... "What it's really a secret, however, is the amount of the money reserve." And one thing is true, Fidel's unit of account is dollar. Forbes magazine was not far from the truth, when in 2006 placed Fidel's fortune (around nine billion) among the top ten in the world. Testimonials of numerous high-ranking Cuban officials deserters revealed that Fidel used to embezzle part of the turnover of enterprises created and controlled at will through his closest followers (Cimex Corporation, Convention Center and Medicuba), and used part of the national wealth for his own purposes. Can anybody refute Raul Castro's lack of moral to have been nominated and elected as President of the State Council of the Republic of Cuba, having allowed and covered his brother Fidel's excessive ambition and lust for power, which led him to accumulate in an impoverished Cuba with, according to him, $ 900 Cuban pesos salary, a real estate fortune that included in the province of Matanzas, two summer residences, one located in the heart of Varadero, and another in La Caleta del Rosario (in the Bay of Pigs), where a marina serves as home port for his yacht Aquarama II and the rest of his private fleet; in the province of Ciego de Avila, another house with access to the sea on the island of Turiguanó, near Cayo Coco resort; in Camagüey province, the small estate of San Cayetano, with an "arena" for horse riding, and another house, called Tabayito, hidden inside a complex of houses reserved for members of the nomenclature; in Holguin another property called Guardalavaca; and two residences in Santiago de Cuba: a two-floor house with a bowling alley in Manduley street and another one with swimming pool inside of a complex of the Ministry of Interior? Feliz Día del Padre!

Mientras que en muchisimos países de Latinoamerica el día del padre se celebra el tercer domingo de Junio, en España se celebra El 19 de marzo. Otros de los pocos países que comparten esta fecha para agasajar a los padres son: Andorra, Bélgica, Honduras, Italia, Liechtenstein, Macao, Portugal, Guinea Ecuatorial, Mozambique y Bolivia. Les deseo Feliz Día del  Padre a todos los Papás de estos países, a los Papás Cubanos exiliados o inmigrantes allí, y en especial a esos papás que activa, amistosa, y patrióticamente comparten los medios sociales! "El mejor legado de un padre a sus hijos es un poco de su tiempo cada día" "Un padre es un hombre que espera que sus hijos sean tan buenos como él hubiera querido ser".

Coincidentemente, el 19 de Marzo, Día de San José, también se celebra en mi pueblo natal de Abreus, Provincia de Cienfuegos, Cuba, el Día del Abreunse ausente. Felicidades a todos esos Abreuses, y especialmente a los exiliados y emigrantes de allí donde quiera que estén este día, con el deseo y augurio, que más pronto que tarde Cuba sea verdaderamente libre, democrática y próspera!

Can anybody believe that Raul Castro ignores his brother Fidel has three real estate properties in Pinar del Río province: "la casa del Americano" (with outdoor pool); "la granja de la Tranquilidad", in the place "Mil Cumbres"; and the hunting lodge, "La Deseada", in a swampy area where he used to hunt ducks in winter? Can Raul Castro deny that Fidel, in addition to "Punto Cero" property in Havana, has six other homes; namely, his first home in 1959 in Cojimar; a second luxury house on 160th Street, in District "La Piara"; a third house reserved for his courtships on the premises of Unit 160; a fourth house in "Santa María del Mar", facing the sea and next to the hotel "Tropico" in "Habana del Este" municipality; plus two houses equipped with bomb shelters for Castro family in the event of war: the house of "Punta Brava" (where Dalia Soto lived in 1961 before she went to live with Fidel) and The Gallego's house, near Unit 160? Does Raul Castro dare to create a National Commission for the Fight against Corruption, to verify and to be accountable to the National Assembly of People's Power openly and televised to Public wider concerning the revelations made in the book "Fidel Castro's hidden life", written by his bodyguard for over 17 years, Juan Reinaldo Sanchez? Does the National Assembly dare to question Raul Castro on the disclosures made in the book "Fidel Castro's hidden life", written by his bodyguard Juan Reinaldo Sanchez? Are they willing in Cuba to assess Fidel Castro's immense property, from Point Zero (with its pool, its wooded park and greenhouses), his paradise island in Cayo Piedra, with his almost-thirty-meter-long yacht, some twenty houses at the Commander's  exclusive service , visited and seen them all by his bodyguard, in the province of Pinar del Rio, Havana, Matanzas, Camaguey and Santiago de Cuba, all with luxury and comfort which I will describe in Part Three of these comments? Did Raul Castro have any moral standing for having been proposed and elected as President of the State Council of the Republic of Cuba, after having assisted, as Vice President, his brother Fidel Castro Ruz; and having both failed politically, economically and socially in their Totalitarian Socialist government project? Does Raul Castro have any moral standing for having usurped the presidency of Cuba, and to pretend to be, nationally and internationally, the legitimate president, actually being a President of a single-party Council of State, false and illegitimately elected by the vote of just 600 manipulated, committed and privileged Members of his single party, of which he has also been Second Secretary General for decades? Was not Raul Castro co-responsible of excess of prohibitions and restrictions that hindered the country's development and full enjoyment of freedom and rights of all Cubans? Is not Raul Castro also co-responsible, that his brother Fidel had created a paradise island in Cayo Piedra, for Castro's exclusive use, behind and at the expense of the impoverished Cuban people, while they lived a bourgeois and millionaire life deceiving and lying to the nation and the world with their feigned devotion for the poor and needy of the world? Has not Raul Castro allowed and protected that today it is now almost impossible to assess the fortune of Fidel Castro, judging by his heritage, as revelations in the book "Fidel Castro's Hidden Life", written by his bodyguard in more than 17 years, Juan Reinaldo Sanchez? La Ilegitimidad de Raúl Castro. Duodécima Parte.

¿Cómo lograron los Castros sacrificar a los cuatro condenados a muerte, probados valientes combatientes en varias peligrosas contiendas militares, sin que éstos, deshonrados y humillados por sus implicados jefes, trataran de revelar la verdad al mundo? Esa fue la parte más cobarde, cínica y cruel del espectáculo montado y su veredicto. Coincido totalmente con lo narrado por el ex gualda espaldas, Juan Reinaldo Sánchez, quien en su libro "La vida oculta de Fidel Castro" lo describe así: "... es evidente que los acusados recibieron el mensaje de que «teniendo en cuenta los servicios pres­tados en el pasado, la Revolución se mostraría agradecida con ellos: ella no abandonaba a sus hijos, y aunque el tri­bunal solicitara la pena máxima, mostraría buena voluntad en relación con ellos y sus familias»... Lo cual equivalía a prometer a aquellos hombres que no serían ejecutados sino indultados. Al menos, si admitían sus errores y afirmaban que merecían la pena capital." Lógicamente, sin ninguna otra alternativa plausible, los purgados representaron su rol al pie de la letra y ya podíamos saber de ante mano cómo culminaría el maquinado engaño de los Castros y su tribunal de marionetas. En la madrugada del 13 de julio de 1989, los cuatro condenados a muerte fueron fusilados; mientras que el otro cabo suelto, José Abrantes, fue sentenciado a veinte años de prisión, para morir sos­pechosamente en su segundo año de condena, de un paro cardíaco, a pesar de su excelente estado físico. Fin.

La Ilegitimidad de Raúl Castro. Undécima Parte

Ya desde finales de 1988, Juan Reinaldo Sánchez, ex Gualda espalda de Fidel, había descubierto que su jefe no sólo estaba metido en el tráfico de cocaína, sino que hasta dirigía las operaciones ilegales como todo un verdadero padrino de la mafia. Resultó que una ocasión había escuchado accidentalmente una conversación entre el general José Abrantes y Fidel, acerca de un lanchero cubano que desde Estados Unidos hacía negocios con el régimen; y a quien Fidel, a través de Abrantes, autorizó para pasar una semana de vacaciones en Santa María del Mar en compañía de sus padres en Cuba, por setenta y cinco mil dólares; con la coartada de hacerles creer a los padres del lanchero que su hijo era un agente de información cubano infiltrado en Estados Unidos, y que su vida correría un grave peligro si no guardaban el secreto de su visita a Cuba. Luego, durante el juicio de la Causa No 1, el ex Gualda espalda sufre otra amarga experiencia, que narra en su libro "La vida oculta de Fidel Castro" según cito: "En un momento dado, la acusación se centró específi­camente en la cuestión de un hangar situado en el aero­puerto de Varadero, donde estaba almacenada la droga en ruta hacia Estados Unidos junto con otras mercancías de contrabando. De inmediato se me encendió una luz. Recordé haber acompañado a Fidel, Abrantes, Tony de la Guardia y otros funcionarios del Departamento MC a ese hangar dos años atrás. Tras salir del palacio en un convoy de tres vehículos, habíamos llegado, al cabo de una hora larga de trayecto, ante ese edificio, que se encuentra en el lado derecho de la carre­tera panamericana. Ese día yo me había quedado en el ex­terior del edificio, mientras Abrantes y Tony de la Guardia enseñaban a Fidel un supuesto depósito de botellas de ron y puros destinados a la exportación. Después, apenas trans­currido un cuarto de hora desde nuestra llegada, habíamos vuelto sobre nuestros pasos hacia el palacio presidencial. En aquel instante del proceso, me di cuenta de que dos años atrás Fidel no había ido a ver un depósito de ron y puros —¿cómo, en efecto, un jefe de Estado podría perder tres horas en ir a ver algo tan trivial y carente de interés?—, sino una provisión de polvo blanco que esperaba para ser enviado a Florida. Porque, como de costumbre, el Coman­dante en Jefe, desconfiado respecto de sus subordinados y prudente hasta el extremo, quería comprobarlo todo con sus propios ojos, hasta los menores detalles, con el fin de asegurarse de que se habían tomado las mejores disposicio­nes para disimular la mercancía de contrabando." ¿Puede alguien albergar alguna duda sobre la ilegitimidad de los castros?
